Detroit Middle School Campus
The IMS team constructed a 2-story modular addition, connected to the existing building with an enclosed corridor, to serve as the school’s educational wing. The building was installed and secured in 7 days.
Middle School Campus
Cesar Chavez Academy, a public school academy located in Detroit, Michigan, was founded on the idea that each student should have a safe, nurturing and respectful learning environment while maintaining high standards allowing each student to reach their academic and social potential
Modular School Addition
To create this necessary space, the IMS team built a single story, 13- module addition that was connected to the existing building with an enclosed connector.
Modular Classroom Addition
The IMS team built a single story modular addition that consists of a brick exterior and steel siding along with oak trim detailing on the interior to allow the space to blend seamlessly.
Modular construction allowed the school to avoid delays and meet their timeline to open the business in conjunction with the surrounding public school calendars.
Charter School Phased Construction
The overall project design then went through multiple iterations, with a budget that was both driven by the anticipated student count and limited due to a site that required significant grading work to become suitable for use as an educational facility.
Cosmetology School Building
The Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) cosmetology program was operating in an aging facility and desired to relocate the program to an upgraded location.
Washington Early Learning Center
When the district analyzed and saw they could build a corridor rather inexpensively to connect the existing school to a modular classroom building, they decided it would alleviate parent’s concerns about safety and teacher’s concerns about lost construction time.
